That sense of isolation seems to follow a moment of truth. The Page of Swords suggests a difficult question was asked, either by you, or of you. And the answer, while truthful, may have shattered a comforting illusion. Maybe it was something you feared to be true. Maybe it was the one answer you didn’t want. Now that you know it, you can’t go back.
Healing After the Shock
The Star shines brightest after the storm. It follows the Tower in the Major Arcana—symbolically placing it right after a disaster or collapse. So even though the Tower didn’t appear today, you’re clearly in the stage of picking up the pieces after something painful, perhaps even destabilizing.
You likely have lost more than just optimism. Something tangible, like support, access, connection, or opportunity, might now feel out of reach. That’s what makes this moment feel so challenging; you’ve gained knowledge, but lost footing. You’ve uncovered something honest, but it’s left you with less to stand on. Even worse, it might not even be clear what to do next.
Let Yourself Sit With the Unknown
Right now, the path ahead may be blurry. That’s okay: the Star reminds you that healing and clarity often take time. You don’t need to rush toward your next goal. First, reconnect with your why.
You might feel stripped of your old purpose, or unsure whether you even want the same things you did before. You might be missing the drive, not just the means. This is the time to explore that. What do you want now? What desire still burns underneath the doubt? When you know that, you’ll find the will to gather what you need.
Today’s Message: Find Your Motivation Before Your Tools
You may be tempted to focus on what’s missing, what you no longer have, or what was taken from you. But the cards suggest something else: focus first on the desire. What are you truly working toward? If your old goal still calls to you, reignite your commitment to it. If it doesn’t, let it go and seek something new. Once you know what you want again, the tools will follow, even if they’re different than the ones you lost.
