The Tower

Fall from Grace

The Tower is Major Arcana number 16, who breaks The Fool free from the snare of The Devil, Major Arcana number 15. It provides humility to the Tarot deck, and reminds us of the dangers of taking any prediction too seriously. The Tarot interpretation of the Tower often involves a major shake-up affecting a large group, a complete and utter reversal of fortune, or the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
