Judgement
The Ultimate Test
The Star is Major Arcana number 20, who tests The Fool to see if they are ready to graduate on to the World, Major Arcana number 21, or else return back to the beginning of their journey. It is the source of sound for the Tarot deck, so that we can hear the cards as they are shuffled and drawn. The Tarot interpretation of Judgement usually has to do with a test that must be passed, someone being given or denied a promotion, or the realization that you’ve had it wrong all along.

Judgement Card Meaning
The Judgement card is about being called to account, and finding out where you really stand. There is often music or a recording of some kind involved in this process, usually at or neat the end of it. After the truth is laid bare, the consequences are always felt immediately.
Symbolism in Judgement
The Judgement card symbolizes trumpets, religious conversion, writing utensils, and zombies. It also symbolizes the final step in a journey, which is often associated with the number 10; as Major Arcana number 20, Judgement is the sum of 10 and 10, one complete journey for each of the two possibilities (pass or fail).
Judgement Reversed Meaning
Judgement reversed means failing to meet the moment, an old failure or flaw that will not go away, losing sight of what you really want, and not caring what anyone else thinks.
